Scenes From Budapest, Hungary
Here are some of the photos I took of Budapest, Hungary from my small digital camera. I thought the city has a "small-town" feel compared to other European heavy-hitter neighbors. And, it was relatively cheaper. It's gotten a lot commercial, though, just like any other city in Central Europe: there are McDonalds and Starbucks branches everywhere. I love the fact the the city is surrounded by bridges that separate its two centers: Buda and Pest, as these bridges give the city a unique feel. It was hot, hazy, and humid when we were there - up to 40 degrees Celsius (around 104 degrees Fahrenheit) so it was tough to get around as the heat was sucking up our energy. But, we didn't let that try to hinder our appreciation of the city.
